LOOK!! A post!!!!
Merry Christmas everyone! Ok ok, so it's only the 22nd, but who cares? There's snow on the ground (although not very much :c) lights are up, trees are decorated and boxes of stuff are taunting us under the trees! This is just a little update on my Christmas break thus far. It started on Thursday, December 14th after my psychology final (which I aced!!!) Then began the 5 hour drive home! Once I arrived, I was greeted by my big bro, whom I hadn't seen since August! We hung out for awhile and that night my parents treated my brother, sister, and I to nachos at our favorite local place. After that, I was bored to tears, even began missing being in class. With nothing to eat my time like a 15 page paper or 8 chapters of a text book...I did something rash! I cleaned my room! Now it's lovely and I'm bored again! My mom, dad, brother and I took my grandma out for lunch and a bit of shopping today, she really enjoyed that. Last night I went to see The Persuit of Happyness with a friend of mine (I recomend it) and it almost brought tears to my eyes. I can't wai for Christmas Eve Midnight Mass! Our church is always transformed into a beautiful sight, and the brass ensemble and bell choir are pleasant on the ears. My family is celebrating Christmas at home this year, however, we'll be attending the Teig Family Christmas over New Year's. That should be a lot of ffun. I'll get to see my great grandmother (keep her in your prayers because her time with us is growing shorter) who is still fiesty at the age of 91. Then towards the end of break, my boyfriend, Will, will be coming to hang out with my family for a couple of days before we have to go back to Wisconsin on the 7th. It'll be fun! I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Love, ~Steph |

December's Eve!!!
Happy almost December!!! Just wanted to fill you all in on my life. Not too much is going on I guess. I've been busy studying for finals, getting ready for my choir concert this Saturday, my Chicago audition next week, and of course, getting sick! Just to let you know, getting sick and not being able to go to classes just before finals is NOT COOL!!!!! Anywho! Life is pretty good. I'm kinda sad that we have no snow accumulation as of yet, but it's cold and it is snowing right now. ~Steph |

*excitedly dancing around*
This is Nathan Maxwell
...the bassist of Flogging Molly. He's a pretty cool guy. How would I know this? Oh, uh, pretty sure he jumped into the crowd at the concert last night and landed on me. He helped me up, put his arm around me, and made sure I was ok...(yay for moshing!!)
Like his hat? Yeah, so do I. It's pretty much amazing. Um...yeah....pretty sure he GAVE ME that hat...signed it and all. "One Love- Solidarity- Up the punx"
And if that wasn't enough... he invited me to go drink with him and the band after the show. Clearly I could not partake in this.
So that was my Saturday night....excuse me while I go jump up and down in pure joy!

Saturday Night!!!!
You guys have no idea how excited I am for this Saturday night! Of course, you might have an idea of my excitement if you actually knew what was going on this Saturday night. Well!!!! On Saturday, Dakota Oliver, Ben White, and myself will be departing from Fenenga Hall in Ashland, WI in the early afternoon. While jamming to pre-selected tunes in my car, we will drive just over an hour to Duluth, MN. We will waste some time shopping (Barnes and Noble primarily) and then, we shall make our way over to the College of St. Scholastica. What's at the College of St. Scholastica on Saturday night that's so amazingly incredible that it deserves its own post??? FLOGGING MOLLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait!!!! In a matter of days it will be me and to of my best friends seeing one of my favorite bands LIVE!!!! Woo! ~Steph |
