That's nICE

It all started Sunday night when I was driving home from the theatre...I saw a movie with some friends. The roads we icy cuz it was raining and it froze when it hit the ground. So, as I'm driving cautiously into the neighborhood, I hit a patch of ice and my car turns sideways...so I'm sliding sideways down the hill...not cool. Well, I didn't crash...yay! The next morning my mom comes into my room about 5 minutes before my alarm was set to go off, and tells me there's no school....sweet! I got to sleep! Since I had all of my homework done I decided to watch the Lord of the Rings Trilogy...which was a good decision. The power was on and off all day cuz the lines were freezing, and I didn't have internet access for two days (gasp)...but the highways closed and as I was watching TV I noticed that pretty much the entire northern half of the state (the part in which I live) was basically shut-down. The next day I woke up and checked the local station for school notices...I thought it would be two-hours late or something, so that the roads could be cleared...but no....a blizzard was about to hit...so not school on Tuesday either. Half way through the day dadand I went outside to scrap the (I'm not even kidding) 1/4 inch of ice off our cars. That was, of course, only after we got the snow off. The highways opened up again, the snow and the wind let up and today I had school again, on time and everything. So...who wants to come to MN?

Such a Gentleman

Last night was my school's first ever Sadie Hawkins Dance. (Girls ask the guys) I went with my friend Ben, and I couldn't believe what a gentleman he was! He was opening doors, dropped me off at the door so that I didn't have to walk through the snow, paid for the tickets (which the girl is actually supposed to do for this dance) took my coat, and all that kinda stuff...I was impressed. We had a great time...and it was sooo much fun making fun of the freshmen when the song "Ring of Fire" by Johnny Cash started to play. None of them knew it, and here were all of my friends and I, belting out all the words and creating a modern-hick jig to go with it. All in all, it was great.

Coming Soon to a Theatre Near You!

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire opens this Friday! (Yay!) Now, I know there are some people out there who think that Harry Potter goes against the Bible, and is Satanic and stuff like that, but I like the books and plan to see the movie, the very first showing of it on Friday, along with a rather large group of my friends. Anyone else out there as excited as I am for this movie?

Right so...the only picture here that I honestly know what's goin' on in, would be the pic of Marly and I...he was trying to be Orlando Bloom...the others, well...Grant was scared by that yellow pillow thing, and the tech guys were dog piling on the couch.
