What about Breakfast at Tiffany's?

As usual, the title has nothing to do with the post. However, I did buy the movie 'Breakfast at Tiffany's' today. Nah! I just wanted to update you guys on my life...it's good. This past weekend Josh came up to visit. We went to Fargo for a day of random shopping and dinner, followed by the best Redhawks Baseball game I've ever seen!! The Redhawks and the Jackhammers were tied at 5, it was the bottom of the 9th, and we got a homerun!!!!!!!! Shaweet! Anywho! Today, we got up and went to mini-mass (I say mini because Father recognized how hot it was and the church isn't air conditioned, so he printed off the homily to take home and read) After that, we went to Art in the Park, where I got the sweetest purse ever...(if you want to hear about it let me know) and the we went out to lunch, and played nintendo (heck yes) All in all, life is good.

What the.. what is this?!?!

Ok, I know you've heard about the insane cold that is the norm in Minnesota, and I also know that you've heard about the seemingly low temps that are considered warm here, and practically freezing elsewhere. BUT!!! Did you ever think you'd hear about it being truly HOT in Minnesota?? It's true! We're melting over here in the upper midwest. Who ever thought that we here in northern Minnesota would be subjected to temps exceeding 110 degrees?? Call it a fluke, call it global warming...heck! Call it whatever you want! It's hot here, and I want to have a snowball fight!

Can you picture it?

So, here are some pictures from my campus visit to Northland College in Ashland, Wisconsin. The first pic is Wheeler Hall, where I will have my english class. I know it's covered by trees, but most everything there is. The next pic is the Campus Center, where I will not only be eating lunch and doing my work study, but also where I will have my Symphonic Band and Northland Singers courses. The third pic is McMillian Hall, the oldest of the dorms..but not where I'll be living. Next is the fire ring, where I'll probably have some classes on nice days, but also attend bonfires and such. And in the trees behind the fire ring, and across the foot bridge that goes over Bay Creek, is my dorm, Fenenga..which is impossible to get pics of cuz it's hidden. The next pic is me sitting on the rocks of Lake Superior, which is only a mile north of the college. And finally, me hugging a tree, because this is an environmental college...and my parents told me to hug it for the picture.
