I know I told you guys about my summer job working as a waitress for Chinese Dragon, well, I thought I'd update you on how it's going.

I love tips. And I get quite a few because I'm just a charming young woman. I haven't even been there a full month, and I've already made $50.72....in change alone. I love my job.

Ah, the wonders of science

I sold my body to science this weekend, and am doing it again next weekend. I know what you're thinkin'..."Steph's on crack!" Wrong! Steph is on Dronabinol...a synthetic form of the drug THC, which happens to be found in marijuana. Now you're probably thinkin'..."OMG!! Steph's a pot head!" Wrong again. I'm part of a study at Pracs Medical Institute. In short, I go in, they take my vitals, draw my blood once before I pop the pill. After I take the drug, they draw blood from me 16 times within the following 24 hours...(ouch) They also periodically check vital signs. Other than that, I just chill, appart from the first four hours with the drug...during that time I have to sit up, and I'm not allowed to sleep. I must say, some of the side affects were kinda trippy. For example, one minute I'd be trying my hardest not to fall alseep, and then the next minute, I was so alert, noticing absolutely everything around me...then I went back to my super-sleepy state. Well, only one more weekend of this...then I get $650. (You didn't think I'd do this for nothin' did ya?)

Time flies when you're...doin' stuff?

Can you believe this blog has been up and running for two whole years? Pretty cool! Anywho, This post has two purposes; to inform you that my blog is now a toddler, and to let ya know that I got another summer job! Woo! As of today, I'm a waitress at the Chinese Dragon. (1 of 3 chinese resteraunts in my town) I'm pretty excited about it, and goodness knows I can use the extra money...stupid tuition. Eat wontons!

I know....you're all terribly jealous, because I'm going to yet another awesome concert without you. But this one I don't have to have tickets for! Woo! In Fargo, ND they are having their annual Rib Fest. It's like a 4-day BBQ festival complete with rib competitions and live music. Well, my family and I are going on Friday night, and the live music that night just happens to be one of the greatest rock bands of all time!!!! I get to see Styx live!!!!!!!!!! COOL!
