So sad...I can't be related to these people

So, it's still January....and as many of you know..Prom is in May....that's 3.5 months away...yet my brother and sister decided that they had to set me up with a Prom date...who is taller than me. So what do they do? They go to ebay. That's right...my brother and sister are trying to hook me up with a guy on ebay...there is no way i'm related to them.....ebay!

Fairies, Pirates, and Leprachauns

t'was mid december, when i went frolicing through the green, green meadows of central canada. right as i approached the infamous canadian pyramids, not once, but thrice, a strange character leaped and abounded out towards me. the first was a fairy; green and moldy. the second, a pirate; tall, peg-legged, and rather foul-smelling. the third was a leprachaun; a dingy blue...because he was choking on a small plastic blarney stone. this is all complete bull. have a nice day.

snoball week

I'm sure that most of you have no clue what snoball is....well...it's like a cheap rip-off of homecoming. Anyway, this week is snoball week, and today we had the parade of schools. In other words, I had to sit and listen to the same songs, the same speeches, and see the same people with the same bad jokes 5 times in a row today. I don't know about you...but that put me in a not-so-happy mood. I never would've survived today if it weren't for my pals Sara and Dan...and for some reason...they were talking about pirates...whatever.

Clueless Substitute

So, I was in spanish today, sitting there, doing nothing after our final exam....bored out of my mind. It was then that I got the brilliant idea to sign out to Mexico. So, I filled out my planner; date, time and destination...Mexico. I brought it up to our substitute teacher, who signed it, not thinking at all. Then I was legally free to go to Mexico! Tight!

w00t!

I know what you must be thinking...w00t!???? Well, woot! is the name of this great new band...that my friends and I started about 45 minutes ago. Already we have 3 songs; woot! the F, counterfeit tootsiepop, and he died of natural causes.....we will be rock stars...someday...maybe.

THIS IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

omg! Today is so nice...weather wise. It's about 31 degrees out right now...I know what you're thinking, that's not very warm...but consider this; it's 50 degrees warmer today than it was yesterday...yes, it was -20 yesterday...(for a high temp, that is) I love this warm weather!

That ain't right...

So, yeah, it's about -28 here today, every school in the state basically is 2 hours late or closed for the day...but is the DL public school system taking a freakin' cold day?.....of course not! According to my ap bio teacher, we're the "big kids" on the playground who are gonna "tough it out"....it's dangerously cold...I don't wanna "tough it out". By the way, DL got murdered last night in at the wrastlin' meet vs. Frazee...oh well.

The Ultimate Death-Match

It's that time of year again...the Detroit Lakes-Frazee Wrestling match! For those of you not familiar with these teams, it is similar to the Vikings vs. Packers, or in hockey, USA vs. Russia...it's brutle...I'm so pumped for the match! I just hope i'm not sick come thursday...that would suck..big.

Orange Jokes

This is really pathetic, but true...I was on the phone with my uncle in Orlando, and for some reason or another, we were talking about sunless tanner. I was telling him the story of my friend Sarah, who used sunless tanner for prom last year, and she turned that ugly burnt orange color that seems to be popular for vehicles right now. Out of nowhere I hear my mom. She's making all these "orange" jokes. Not kidding, she's saying things like, "she used too much agent orange" and "is she from orange county?" then she finished it off by using the worst line ever..."orange you glad I didn't make another orange joke?" Of course, I was dying of laughter, as was my uncle, and my mom was enjoying being a nut....geez.

What a "swede"y

So, it's a proven fact that guys don't notice when a girl gets a new outfit, or her hair done or something along those lines, but one guy did. I just got highlights in my hair, and the one guy that noticed was my friend Dan (who is from Sweden). He is such a nice guy.

Umm...that just makes it worse Father

So, last night I was up at church for youth group. The heating in our church has been crap lately, and we really needed the heat last night, seeing as it was about -17 outside. Anyway, the heat was on, but Father Jerry decided that it would be easier to circulate the heat if the ceiling fans were on. Needless to say, that was a dumb idea, forgive me Father...but it was really cold, and that just made it worse.

A Really Good Question

Why is it that all of your teachers give you a ton of homework on the most inconvinient night? For example, tonight, I had homework in algebra II, spanish III, ap euro (which I have a test in on monday), and ap bio (whicih I have a test in tomorrow!) When I got home from school, I spent (litterally) 4.5 hours doing homework...non-stop (that ain't right). Now I'm tired, and I have to find some source of energy to get up for zero hour tomorrow, it's probably going to be "one of those days"...( ya know, look like crap, feel like crap, can't focus...)...and to make my life even better...I have to be on camera tomorrow for advanced public speaking (I just had to be host next week! Didn't I!)...life sucks don' it?.......grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

They're Learning WHAT In School?

I was sitting in ap euro today, listening to Mr. Wade Johnson lecture us about Liberalism, Conservativism, Reactionism, Nationalism, and many other ism's. He was pounding the definitions of each one into our heads....Liberalism is wanting to change the government! Conservativism is not wanting to change the government! Reactionism is wanting to bring back old traditions and Monarchy! Nationalism is when a group of people that share the same race, culture, religion, language, ect...are together as one Nation. That got me to thinking about our nation, which, by Mr. Wade Johnson's definition, is not a nation. Think about it. Americans are of every race, culture, religion, language...heck! We're a republic, not a nation according to Mr. Wade Johnson. Honestly, idk...wtf man? That's what they're teaching kids in school these days.

Short Lived

Well, it's Sunday night, about 9:30, and I'm seriously P.O'd. This is because my winter break is almost over. Normally break lasts two weeks (which isn't long enough) but this year, break was only a week and a half. My winter break was short lived, and I don't wanna go back to school tomorrow, especially since I have to be up for my first class...which starts at 7:15......ugh!
