This is an extremely sad story, only read it if you feel you can handle it...
I was at the airshow, having a great time watching the Interstate Cadet land on top of the Winnebago. I saw the Blue Angels for about the 5th time in my life. It was all together a fun day. But it wasn't until the end of it that I realized how painful it really was.
I could barely move! The pain came over me like a sheet on a bed. (fitted sheet, not flat) It pained me to turn my head and look at my mom... I knew she felt the pain as well. We didn't speak. We just sat there in front of the fans...you guessed it, pained.
When I woke up the next morning, I looked down at my wrist to check the time, and I was pained again. For I saw my watch, but the time, I could not tell. I guess that's just what happens when you leave things like your watch on while you're being burnt by the sun. It leaves the image of something normal, but makes the rest of you look like a bell pepper...and leaves you pained.
(If you didn't catch on, this entire post was about my mom and I getting sun burn at the airshow)
